The Morningstar Compact MIDI Cable connects equipment with standard 5-pin DIN MIDI sockets. Its small connector housings help keep nearby ports accessible, while the flexible cable can be routed in the direction that suits your pedalboard or desktop setup.

Use it to connect a controller's MIDI Out to a compatible device's MIDI In, or to continue a MIDI chain from a device's MIDI Thru port. Select the length that reaches between the sockets without pulling on either connector or leaving unnecessary cable around your pedals.

Plan the MIDI route

This is a DIN5 MIDI cable. Equipment with 3.5mm or 1/4-inch TRS MIDI sockets needs the appropriate adaptor for its wiring standard. MIDI carries control messages separately from your guitar or other audio signal, so your audio connections remain a separate part of the setup.
