The Zoom LiveTrak L6 max combines the power of a full-size mixer with a multi-track recorder, all in a compact, battery-powered design. It’s built to be the centerpiece of your live show, rehearsal, or podcast setup — whether you’re a full band, acoustic duo, or solo performer.

With 12 total channels (4 combo inputs, including 2 Hi-Z, plus 8 line inputs), the L6max offers the flexibility to handle any session. Two headphone outputs and a customizable Sub-Out mix let each performer monitor exactly what they need on stage. Channels 5–8 feature –20 dB pad switches, perfect for loud sources like synths or Eurorack modules.

OLED display makes setup intuitive, while multi-track recording captures up to 12 individual tracks plus a stereo mix directly to SD cards up to 2 TB. Projects can be saved, recalled, mixed, and even bounced to a dedicated track to free up space for more layers — with full undo support and original files safely stored. Activate AI Noise Reduction to intelligently remove hum, hiss, and background noise while preserving every detail of your sound. For dynamic performances, 32-bit float recording ensures clip-free audio capture, while dual A/D converters on channels 1–4 maintain pristine mic quality across extreme levels.

The L6max also functions as a 14-in / 4-out USB audio interface for Mac, Windows, iOS, and Android, while recording simultaneously to SD card. It can serve as a control surface for your DAW, and with the free L6 Editor app, you can customize pads, effects, and MIDI assignments easily. Power the L6max using AA batteries, USB bus power, or a mobile battery pack. For modular setups, the optional ERL-6 rack adapter allows seamless integration into a Eurorack system, even powering your modular rig.
