The Trickfish Minnow brings the tone-shaping power of the Bullhead preamp into a compact, single-channel bass preamp and DI pedal built for serious live and studio use.

Designed as a high-quality, low-noise solid-state preamp, the Minnow gives bass players a highly musical 4-band EQ section with shelving Bass and Treble controls, plus selectable Lo Mid and Hi Mid frequency controls for precise midrange shaping. Whether you need deep low-end support, tighter punch, clearer articulation, or a more forward mix-ready tone, the Minnow gives you the control to shape your bass sound properly.

The onboard balanced XLR Direct Out makes the Minnow a practical DI solution for stage and recording environments, with Pre/Post EQ selection and a dedicated ground lift switch for cleaner integration with front-of-house, interfaces, and studio setups.

For live players, the Minnow also includes a tuner out that remains active while muted, an EQ on/off footswitch, and a dedicated mute footswitch. This makes it easy to tune silently, control your signal path, and move between direct, amp, and stage setups with confidence.
