The Trickfish Flexcore System is a high-performance onboard bass preamp designed for players who want serious tone control built directly into their instrument. With its modular configuration system, Flexcore can be tailored for different pickup layouts, EQ requirements and control preferences, making it suitable for both bass upgrades and custom instrument builds. 

Flexcore is designed as an internally mounted bass preamp with flexible options for one or two pickups, passive or active operation, and 2-band, 3-band or 4-band EQ configurations. Its plug-and-play wiring harnesses and solderless pickup terminals make installation much easier than many traditional onboard preamp systems. 

The EQ section offers wide musical control, with selectable frequency points across treble, high mid, low mid and bass ranges. This gives players the ability to fine-tune the response of the instrument, from clean and natural enhancement through to more modern, focused and aggressive active bass tones. The uploaded product page also shows layout options for stacked volume/tone, pickup blend, stacked bass/treble and stacked mid controls.
