The Trickfish External Pre Amp EPA brings the sound and feel of Trickfish’s acclaimed Internal Pre Amp into a compact pedal format - giving bass players the benefit of a high-quality onboard-style preamp without needing to modify their instrument.

Designed for both passive and active basses, the EPA works beautifully as a clean tone-shaping stage for your existing instrument. It can be placed before your pedal chain for front-end EQ control, after your effects for final tone shaping, or used as a simple always-on preamp to add clarity, punch, and musical EQ response.

The EPA features a highly musical 3-band EQ with Bass, Mid, and Treble controls. Each band offers selectable frequency points via internal DIP switches, allowing you to fine-tune the pedal’s response to suit your instrument, playing style, and rig.
