The Trickfish Bullhead 3K is the flagship amplifier head in the Bullhead range, built for professional bassists who need extreme power, massive headroom, flexible routing, and studio-grade tonal control in one serious touring amplifier.

At the core of the Bullhead 3K is the award-winning Mike Pope designed Trickfish preamp, delivering the clarity, warmth, punch, and high-fidelity response the Bullhead series is known for. Paired with a 4-band switchable EQ, it gives players detailed control over their bass tone while retaining a natural, musical feel.

What makes the Bullhead 3K unique is its dual power amp design. With two independent Pascal L-Pro2S power modules, the amp can operate as two powerful rigs in one, with each channel capable of driving its own cabinet output. This allows players to run two cabinet systems, separate electric and upright bass rigs, bass and keys, clean and dirty setups, or summed dual-input configurations through a single professional amplifier platform.

The Bullhead 3K also adds powerful high-pass and low-pass filtering for precise control over the usable frequency range. The HPF helps tighten unwanted low-end rumble, while the LPF can smooth harsh top-end content, making it easier to place your bass tone exactly where it needs to sit in a live or studio mix.

Designed for demanding professional use, the Bullhead 3K includes dual speaker outputs, dual XLR direct outputs, series/parallel effects loop, tuner output, aux input, rear amplifier input with phase selector, independent Amp 2 gain and master controls, universal mains operation, rack ears included, and a rugged 3U chassis ready for stage or rack integration.
