The Luke HSS in Yucatan Blue pairs Steve Lukather’s familiar body shape with a flamed maple veneer over a nyatoh body. A V-profile roasted maple neck and rosewood fingerboard carry 22 medium frets, with a 25.5-inch scale and locking tuners completing the playing setup.
A ceramic bridge humbucker and two Alnico single coils give this Luke its HSS pickup layout. The five-way selector handles pickup changes, while a 12 dB push-push boost in the volume control provides an output lift for prominent parts. A separate tone control and vintage tremolo add further control over brightness and pitch.
