  • e945 — Super-cardioid pickup: tighter and more directional. It rejects off-axis noise and stage bleed better, so vocals can stand out more clearly in loud environments. 

  • e935 — Cardioid pickup: wider pickup area. It’s more forgiving if you move around or don’t stay exactly in front of the mic. 

Impact:

  • e945 is better for high-gain live stages with monitors and loud backline.

  • e935 is easier to work with if you sing while moving or have less precise mic technique.
