The Killmister is back - redesigned to be tougher, more flexible, and uncompromisingly focused on live performance. What began as a classic momentary kill switch has evolved into a fully playable rhythmic tool, capable of everything from subtle signal cuts to extreme, machine-gun-style stutter effects.
At its core is a stepless auto-kill control that transforms the pedal from manual operation into a continuously variable pulse generator. With the control set to zero, the Killmister behaves like a traditional kill switch, muting the signal only while the footswitch is held. As soon as the knob is turned, auto-kill mode engages and the signal is rhythmically muted at regular intervals - the further you turn, the faster and more aggressive the effect becomes.
Fully opened, the Killmister reaches a rapid kill rate of approximately 100 ms, delivering tight glitch patterns and brutally chopped textures. There are no steps, presets, or limitations - just smooth, continuous control that responds instantly to your touch, making the pedal feel more like an instrument than a simple on/off effect.
Built for the stage, the Killmister uses a mechanical relay for hard, clean signal cuts and true bypass reliability. The raw, physical switching adds to its character and ensures fast, precise muting in any live or studio setup, whether you are working with guitars, synths, or experimental sound sources.
