REVV | D25 Joey Landreth Edition | Dynamis 1x12" Valve Amp Combo | Gold

Revv Amplifiers has partnered with longtime Revv devotee and genre-defying guitar mastermind Joey Landreth to introduce the Dynamis D25 Joey Landreth Edition combo amp. As a brilliant combo amp in its own right, the Revv Dynamis D25 marks several impressive breakthroughs: the all-tube D25 is Revv’s first-ever combo, and it comes with integrated Two notes Torpedo technology for modern connectivity.
The D25’s low to mid-gain voice was further sculpted by the engineers at Revv to be punchier with a tighter bass response — perfect for Landreth's country-meet-blues-meets-folk music playing style and his use of baritone guitars. The speaker from the original D25 was replaced with a Celestion G12H75 Creamback for more headroom and to further accentuate the tighter, low-end response.
A 12AX7 preamp section and a 6V6 power section craft a warm, classic voice packed with clean headroom and subtle, warm breakup when pushed. The D25 Joey Landreth Edition is ready to belt out rich, soulful cleans and powerful, gritty, punchy crunch with zero grating high end. This firebreather packs a dynamic gain boost and a pristine digital reverb, both footswitchable, as well as a buffered FX loop and a 5-watt mode for quiet use. Buttons found on the original D25 have been replaced by switches per Joey's request.
Additional Two notes virtual cabinets and IR loading options give the D25 supreme versatility beyond your average combo. Two notes facilitates instant virtual cab sim access for acclaimed mic’d cabinet tones, or users can record direct in relative silence without sacrificing true tube tone. With a perfect blend of tube power and ingenious connectivity, the D25 Joey Landreth Edition is poised to be your one-and-done combo for years to come
Two notes Revvolutions
The D25 Joey Landreth Edition expands on Revv’s D20 head as the first-ever marriage of tube tone and Two notes technology. The D20 was certainly a taste of the future, but combo features and versatility catapult the D25 Joey Landreth Edition to another echelon. With Two notes’ cab sim and IR capacity, gigging, travel, practice, and recording are more seamless than ever. Whether you go direct to FOH, an audio interface, or headphones, the D25 delivers. When hitting a big stage, the D25 Joey Landreth Edition’s virtual cabs and XLR output offer massive mic’d cab tones to stage mixers while you never have to touch or own a speaker cabinet. Recording direct at home? Two notes lets you skip the power amp section or use an attenuated 5-watt power mode for more discrete sound with analog soul kept intact. The D25 Joey Landreth Edition comes preloaded with six virtual cabinets for immediate use; up to 128 more presets can be loaded and controlled via MIDI. Of course, you can always crank the D25 Joey Landreth Edition to 11 and let the Celestion Creamback speaker howl on its own. Hobbyists, pros, and weekend warriors can all use Two notes features for long-term savings and a tidier rig. Moreover, the D25 Joey Landreth Edition puts Two notes tools, including virtual cabinet selections, right on the amp’s front panel for clean access and rapid setups.
Combo essentials, artisan execution
Beyond advanced connectivity, the D25 Joey Landreth Edition’s tone-shaping tools include 3-band EQ, a 2-way gain boost, and a built-in digital reverb. Add crunch, space, and weight to your tone, or route your effects through a buffered effects loop. The D25 Joey Landreth Edition is a killer pedal platform, and you can further shape sonics with an included footswitch outfitted with gain boost and reverb toggles. The gain boost is perfect for edge-of-breakup crunch and searing tube overdrive when really pushed. Revv also ads a pre/post gain boost switch, which drastically alters the boost’s character and signal path, so you aren’t locked into just one tone. Even with its rich feature set, the D25 Joey Landreth Edition is one smooth operator with front-panel and footswitch access to all the essentials. It’s one inspiring combo not to miss!
