The Rainger FX Binary Pulsar is a stereo sidechainer, panner and tremolo pedal built for huge rhythmic movement, pulsing stereo effects and experimental performance control. Based on the discontinued Deep Space Pulsar, it takes the original mono concept and expands it into a fully stereo platform for wider, deeper and more animated modulation.
Designed for both pedalboard and desktop use, the Binary Pulsar can create dips, pulses, sweeps, chops and dramatic stereo panning effects. It can run from its internal tap tempo, sync with CV/gate signals, connect with the Rainger FX Snare Trap, or be triggered from a microphone or drum machine-style trigger source.
The pedal is all-digital at its core, but includes a switchable analogue warm circuit that adds gentle overdrive, a slight high-frequency roll-off and a midrange lift for a less clinical feel. With resonant filtering, built-in distortion/flanging, wide stereo manipulation and invert options, it can move from classic tremolo to highly animated rhythmic textures.
In stereo, the Binary Pulsar is especially powerful for dual-amp rigs, synth setups, studio production and experimental live performance. It can generate pulses in 4s, 8s, 12s, 16s and 32s from a 4s input, making it a creative tool for tight rhythmic movement or unpredictable sonic chaos.
