Protection Racket's Hip Kit Bag Set comprises a purpose–built transport solution for Yamaha's compact Stage Custom Hip Kit, blending semi–rigid Propadd P2 foam construction with weather–proof nylon exterior cladding. The set pairs a 20” × 8” bass drum case fitted with a shoulder strap alongside a combi tom case sporting dual rucksack straps, enabling drummers to distribute weight effectively across both arms. Each case remains structurally rigid when unlatched, eliminating the collapse risk inherent in fabric–only designs whilst staying under 3.5 kilos per case.

The bass drum case's internal cavity measures 23.5” × 11.5”, providing breathing room around hardware and fittings beyond the nominal 20” × 8” drum dimensions. The combi tom case spans 16.5” × 22” internally and incorporates two rigid internal dividers separating toms from snare, plus a fleece–covered foam crescent block that stabilises the snare during transit and fills dead space. Both cases employ weather–resistant materials throughout, making them suitable for touring musicians navigating variable conditions between venues.
