Protection Racket's Timba cases are built on the same engineering platform as the brand's Pro Line drum cases, designed for serious travel protection. The 13" Timba case (catalogue no. 9814-00) offers internal dimensions of 15.75" × 27½", providing clearance for shell hardware and fittings. Propile foam lining absorbs impact during transport, whilst the central padded carry handle and adjustable shoulder strap enable flexible carrying options for gigging and studio sessions.

Construction prioritises durability without excess weight. The rigid case exterior shields against road wear, while Propile cushioning–the same material protecting Pro Line cases–disperses impact forces that would otherwise transmit to the drum shell. Internal dimensions are deliberately oversized relative to advertised shell size, accommodating lugs, bearing edges, and other protrusions. This design philosophy prevents friction-induced damage during loading, unloading, and transit vibration.
