Protection Racket's Timba cases apply the same rigorous construction standard as the brand's Pro Line drum cases, engineered to shield hand percussion from the rigours of transport and touring. Built with Propile foam lining throughout, these cases absorb impact and vibration while maintaining a compact footprint. The 12" Timba variant (catalogue 9814-00) accommodates internal dimensions of 15.75" × 27½", offering sufficient clearance for shell hardware and fittings.

Construction centres on a padded carry handle positioned at the case's centre point, complemented by a removable shoulder strap for hands-free transport. Internal dimensions deliberately exceed the stated shell size to allow room for tuning lugs, bearing edges, and mounting hardware without compression. The Propile lining throughout the interior distributes load evenly and resists moisture ingress during humid conditions or outdoor storage–critical for preserving bearing surfaces and drum heads.
