Limetone | JCB-4S-Flat | Signal Junction Box
or 4x fortnight payments of $49.75 AUD with ⓘ
A signal junction box that emphasizes sound quality and is intended to be laid under an effector. It is the same size as a general compact effector, and it is possible to arrange the junction box without wasting space on the pedal board.
A dedicated board is placed inside to fix each jack, and the audio signal part and ground line are connected by hand wiring instead of the pattern wiring of the board. Wiring materials are selected in consideration of the tendency of sound due to the jack and housing. As for the solder used, we use two types of solder depending on the location, and devise ways to convey as little loss as possible from low to high frequencies.
Equipped with an Input terminal and three Thru terminals, the three Thru can be assigned to the Output and used, as well as connecting the control signal (latch signal) of the amplifier using a stereo plug.
The ground of each terminal is independent and suppresses the occurrence of a ground loop. The ground of the housing is connected to the ground of the Input terminal.
Advantages of introducing a junction box
- The time required for setup can be shortened by consolidating the input / output locations in one place
- Move the knob
- You can freely decide the location of the effector in the pedal board (no need to consider placing the effector located at IN or OUT at the end)
