The JoeCo BlackBox BBR64-MADI 64-track recorder makes it incredibly easy to get great live and rehearsal recordings, and it sets up amazingly quickly. The BlackBox features 56 MADI inputs (via optical or coax) and eight analog inputs, records to quality BWF format, and allows you to plug in a standard USB 2.0 drive for effortless transfer to your DAW. This 1U box provides full front-panel metering and direct control, so you don't need to deal with a computer to plug in and get great recordings. Record your way with flexible I/O

This version of the BlackBox Recorder includes two sets of MADI connectors (coax and optical), and eight balanced analog inputs on 25w D-type (Tascam format). In addition to this flexible I/O, you also get selectable balanced audio insert points or balanced group outputs. The digital I/O of this Black Box allows you to capture a pristine digital feed directly from your digital mixer. The balanced I/O interface uses high-quality balancing receivers and transmitters and has been designed specifically for the BlackBox Recorder to be fully transparent

Capture up to 64-tracks of superb-sounding audio with the JoeCo BlackBox BBR64-MADI 64-track Recorder. The BBR64-MADI will record up to 24-bit/96kHz audio in Broadcast WAV format. Your audio will be clear and full range. The BlackBox will give you back exactly what you put into it.

Sync a variety of digital sources

The JoeCo BlackBox BBR64-MADI features a number of ways to keep your audio in sync. It'll lock to or even generate word clock data if needed. The BBR64-MADI will also lock onto the received MADI data stream coming from your mixer. The input is echoed directly to the output to ease system integration.
