The Free The Tone CRUNCHY CHIME CC-1B is a booster pedal designed to add lively harmonic character, natural presence and extra touch response to your guitar or bass tone. Its boost circuit was developed through Free The Tone’s research into pleasant, non-harsh harmonic content, giving your sound more movement and sparkle without becoming brittle. Whether you want to push an amp harder, lift a solo above the mix or add subtle life to a clean tone, the CRUNCHY CHIME delivers a musical and responsive boost.

The onboard equaliser gives you practical tone-shaping control while keeping the sound natural and transparent. Treble and Bass controls sit flat at 12 o’clock, while the Mode switch lets you select the boost/cut frequency range for the Bass control, making it useful across standard guitars, 7-string guitars and bass.
