Earthwood Silk & Steel Extra Soft strings place a layer of silk between the 80/20 bronze winding and steel core. That additional layer gives the strings a gentler feel and a more mellow acoustic sound than the standard bronze construction.
This 10–50 set is supplied as a three-set pack. The silk layer also helps reduce finger noise, making it a practical choice when you want the sound of steel acoustic strings with a softer touch.
