                                    I gravitated from Ernie Ball 9s to 8s a while back ...being easier for my 70 year old fingers to bend ...however I did find the top E string to a bit thin ....The Mighty Slinkys 8.5 / 40s fit perfectly between the two sets ...very happy with them .
