The Browne Amplification ALKENE Nashville Overdrive takes inspiration from the classic Nashville-style overdrive sounds heard on the pedalboards of session players such as Tim Pierce and Jerry McPherson. It delivers organic clipping, gentle amp-like compression and a highly usable gain range, giving players a drive tone that feels natural, musical and easy to control.

Compared with a traditional Nashville-style circuit, ALKENE has been refined with a tighter low end, restored midrange frequencies and a more controlled gain sweep. The result is an overdrive that adds low-mid body and punch without becoming muddy, while keeping chord work clear and responsive.

ALKENE works beautifully for crunchy rhythm tones, expressive lead sounds and making thinner backline amps feel fuller and more alive. With its external asymmetrical clipping switch, plus internal More Clip and Low Cut options, it gives you practical tone-shaping flexibility without making the pedal complicated to use.

• Nashville-style overdrive with organic amp-like response
• Inspired by session-player overdrive tones
• Musical clipping with gentle compression
• Lowered gain range for a more usable control sweep
• Restored midrange for better presence and clarity
• Tightened low end for punch without muddiness
• External switch for symmetrical or asymmetrical soft clipping
• Internal More Clip switch adds extra bite, gain and aggression
• Internal Low Cut switch tightens bass-heavy rigs
• Great for rhythm drive, lead tones and improving thin-sounding amps
