The Blackstar ST-J100H St. James 100w Valve Amplifier Head redefines valve amplification by combining vintage tube design with cutting-edge technology. Featuring a unique power section with two 6L6 and two EL34 power tubes, this head offers the versatility of running all four tubes for 100 watts or selecting either pair for a focused 50-watt output. Four footswitchable channels—Clean, Crunch, OD1, and OD2—are complemented by channel-specific controls, including a 3-band EQ, Reverb, and dedicated Boost and Tight switches for tonal precision.

The St. James 100 introduces a 3-position Cut switch, allowing players to fine-tune the amp’s upper-frequency response from bright and defined to warm and vintage-inspired tones. Blackstar’s renowned CabRig technology and reactive load ensure studio-grade direct tones without needing high volume, with an XLR output that precisely captures the sound of a mic’d-up cab.

Designed for modern connectivity, the St. James 100 includes MIDI Thru/In, USB-C audio output, and a switchable Series/Parallel effects loop for seamless integration into any setup.
