The BECOS FX CompIQ YUNA Pro is a compact, studio-grade compressor and soft limiter designed for bass, guitar, and other instruments that need clean, musical dynamic control. Built around THAT Corp’s 4320 Analog Engine with a true RMS detector and Blackmer VCA, YUNA delivers smooth, transparent compression with the control depth normally associated with high-end studio gear.

Its streamlined control layout keeps things practical on stage or in the studio, while still offering serious tone-shaping flexibility. The Comp control links ratio and threshold for simple “less to more” compression, while the Timing control adjusts attack and release together in a reversible range, allowing everything from smooth levelling to punchy, percussive response.

YUNA also includes advanced side-chain and EQ tools that make it especially useful for bass players. The variable lows side-chain filter can cut or boost low-frequency sensitivity around 90Hz, helping preserve low-end energy or tighten how the compressor reacts. The post-compression X-EQ offers selectable pivot points at 300Hz for bass or 1kHz for guitar, giving you a simple but effective way to tilt the tonal balance after compression.

For players who want a compact compressor that can handle clean levelling, punch enhancement, parallel compression, tone shaping, and DI-style routing, the CompIQ YUNA Pro is a highly capable option. With Dry/Wet blend, selectable voicings, feed-forward/feed-back compression modes, an 8-LED gain reduction meter, and optional DITOS transformer-balanced output, it is designed to work as both a pedalboard compressor and a serious front-end tool for recording or live use.
