Metro Panels are designed so that it takes different lengths of time for sound waves to travel through each of the different sections of the panel, rebound from the surface behind and travel back through the Metro into the treated room. This affects the results of the acoustic treatment by softening wavefronts and rather than just absorbing them.

The overall effect is a more live and musical sounding room - often desired for tracking as well as listening rooms. A room treated with 2 Metro Panels will retain more of its live feel than if treated with a stronger absorber like 4 Wedge or Pyramid panels and when coupled with the right amount of Metro LENRD Bass Traps, a more natural sounding and rounded acoustic response can be achieved.

Studiofoam Metro Panels are available in Burgundy (62/2METRO24BUR), Charcoal (62/2METRO24CHA) and Purple (62/2METRO24PUR).
