The Polyend Endless is a radically new kind of guitar pedal - a user-defined stomp box that lets you run custom effects designed by you, the Polyend community, or third-party developers. Instead of being locked into fixed algorithms, Endless is built as a flexible platform where a single effect lives on the pedal at any given time, ready for performance-grade use.

At the centre of Endless is PLAYGROUND (beta), Polyend’s effect-generation environment. Without writing code, you can describe the sound you want and generate a ready-to-use effect file in minutes. More advanced users can go deeper using Polyend’s open SDK to build custom effects in C++, making Endless equally appealing to musicians, sound designers, and developers.

Endless is designed for real-world pedalboards. It runs high-quality 48kHz / 24-bit stereo audio through low-noise, studio-grade analogue I/O and a powerful 720MHz ARM Cortex-M7 DSP. Effects are transferred via USB-C using simple drag-and-drop, keeping workflow fast and friction-free whether you’re rehearsing, recording, or touring.

Power and connectivity are deliberately pedalboard-friendly. Endless runs on standard 9V DC power (centre-positive or centre-negative), supports TRS expression control, and features a robust metal enclosure. The front plate is replaceable, with a blank plate included so you can customise the pedal’s look as your setup evolves.

New units include US$20 worth of PLAYGROUND tokens for effect creation. Community-shared effects can be downloaded for free, allowing Endless to grow continuously as the ecosystem expands.
