OPFXS Asteroide Sampler & Harmonizer Pedal

The OPFXS Asteroide is a creative sampler and harmonizer pedal designed to capture the note you are playing and replay it as a dynamic harmonic layer. When the Sample footswitch is pressed, the pedal memorises the note and plays it back following your input envelope, allowing the sampled sound to move naturally with your playing.

It can be used to create simple bass lines, sustained harmonic drones, organ-like textures or more complex riff and chord ideas from a single guitar signal. Lower octave, fundamental, second harmonic and higher harmonic controls let you shape the sampled note from thick sub-style support to bright harmonic colour.

The Single/Dual switch gives you two different sampling behaviours. In Single mode, one sampled note is stored at a time, while Dual mode allows two notes to be sampled and played back together, creating richer two-note harmonic layers.

With Sample and Bypass footswitches, envelope-following playback, infinite sustain mode, transparent dry signal path and stereo output, the Asteroide is a compact experimental pedal for guitarists looking to expand beyond standard octave and harmonizer sounds.
