The Drawmer DSM-2 D-Clock is a professional 2-input, 20-output word clock measurement and distribution amplifier designed for modern digital studio environments. When working with multiple digital devices, stable clock distribution is essential for maintaining accurate digital synchronisation across converters, recorders, digital mixers and other studio equipment.

The DSM-2 solves a common studio problem - not having enough word clock outputs available, or needing to derive a stable clock signal from equipment that does not provide a dedicated word clock output. It accepts both BNC word clock and AES/EBU digital inputs, allowing clock information to be distributed across a wider studio setup with confidence.

A 16-character blue LCD display provides clear reference measurement of the incoming sample rate, with support for incoming sample frequencies up to 768kHz. The DSM-2 also provides measurement modes for sample frequency with ppm error, as well as percentage pull up/down display, making it especially useful in sound-for-picture workflows where video-related clocking requirements can be more complex.

Both the AES/EBU and BNC word clock inputs feature zero-latency loopthrough outputs, with switchable high impedance to help maintain the correct digital signal level for onward distribution. Sixteen BNC clock outputs are located on the rear panel, with a further four BNC clock outputs on the front panel for quick patching to additional digital devices.
