The EarthQuaker Devices Plumes JR takes the unmistakable character of the original Plumes overdrive and packs it into a smaller enclosure without compromising its signature tone, clarity or versatility.

Building on the original Plumes’ all-analog design, Plumes JR delivers three distinct clipping voices, exceptional headroom and rich harmonic detail. Its finely tuned tone control allows you to sculpt the low end, enhance top-end clarity and focus the midrange for everything from subtle breakup to powerful, saturated overdrive.

While the first two clipping modes remain unchanged from the original Plumes, the third mode has been completely reimagined with a new MOSFET-Mod clipping circuit, delivering a tighter, more focused and aggressive overdrive inspired by modern high-gain tube amplifiers.

Whether you’re looking for a transparent boost, classic tube-like overdrive or a commanding modern drive tone, Plumes JR delivers impressive versatility in a compact footprint.

Three Distinct Clipping Modes

Mode L – Classic Clipping

Retains the original Plumes’ Mode 1 clipping circuit, delivering the familiar response and character that made the original pedal a favourite among guitarists.

Mode N – Open & Dynamic

Preserves the original Plumes’ Mode 2 circuit, offering its signature clarity, dynamics and responsive feel.

Mode M – NEW MOSFET-Mod Clipping

The biggest tonal evolution in Plumes JR. This completely redesigned MOSFET clipping circuit produces a commanding, tight and focused overdrive with rich harmonics and an aggressive bite reminiscent of a modern high-gain tube amplifier.

Compact Size, Full-Sized Tone
