To mitigate the risk of ground loops, the etherCON connection features a ground lift switch. In addition, a secondary etherCON THRU connection – linked in parallel – facilitates the transmission of signals to external devices. Both of the etherCON connections are safeguarded against unlocking to prevent accidental cable disconnection. In addition to audio signals, the AOC B XLR M enables the transmission of DMX, or MIDI control signals, along with 48-volt phantom power, via a single, standard Ethernet cable.
