A closer look

Operation of the Cali76 Stacked Compressor is intuitive and plays nicely with your existing pedalboard due to its common 9-volt power supply requirement. That nine volts then internally increases the voltage to 24 volts for added headroom. The bump in internal voltage is enough to also allow the Cali76 Stacked Compressor to be used for other line-level devices such as microphones or keyboards. The Attack and Release controls, typically set in reverse positions from one another, are combined into a single pot for a much friendlier user experience. Turning counterclockwise, the Attack is increased with a slow release, smoothing out your sound and providing a “spongier” feel. The inverse of this effect takes place as the control is turned clockwise — great for more percussive playing and precise styles of music. The two LED VU meters on each side of the pedal display the amount of compression or limiting effect that takes place when the Cali76 Stacked Compressor is in use, glowing brighter as more compression is used.
