Walrus The Fundamental Lo-Fi Delay Pedal
The Walrus Audio Fundamental Lo-Fi Delay transforms familiar echoes into shifting, imperfect textures packed with character. From bright, warbling repeats and dark atmospheric clouds to rhythmic multi-tap patterns, it delivers a wide range of lo-fi delay sounds through a simple, intuitive control layout.
Part of the Fundamental Series, the Lo-Fi Delay combines professional-grade tone with an approachable three-slider interface. Time, Feedback and Mix provide quick control over your delay, while the three-position mode switch gives you access to three distinctly different algorithms. Tap tempo and switchable trails add extra flexibility without making the pedal complicated to use.
Designed and assembled at Walrus Audio headquarters in Oklahoma City, the Fundamental Lo-Fi Delay is equally suited to subtle movement behind your core tone, ambient soundscapes, experimental textures and rhythmic delay patterns.
• Three distinctive lo-fi delay algorithms: AM, Murk and Echo
• Time control with up to 1 second of delay
• Feedback control from single repeats to long, evolving trails
• Mix control from completely dry to 100% wet
• AM mode delivers bright, filtered repeats with harmonic distortion, wow and flutter modulation
• Murk mode creates dark, heavily degraded repeats with slow modulation and dense atmospheric textures
• Echo mode provides rhythmic multi-tap delay with analog-style tone shaping
• Tap tempo mode accessible by holding the bypass switch
• Selectable quarter-note, dotted-eighth and eighth-note tap divisions
• Trails mode allows repeats to fade naturally after bypass
• Trails can be disabled for immediate delay cutoff
• Buffered bypass
• Black finish with green and off-white graphics
