Two versatile types of distortion
One thing that really stood out when we ran the Dracarys through its paces was its versatility. Wampler not only supplied the Dracarys with a Triple Wreck-style 3-band EQ to sculpt your tone but also included a gain switch that provides two different types of distortion. Set the switch to the Open position, and enjoy an aggressive tone with minimal compression. Flip it to the Tight position, and experience a powerful sound with natural tube-like compression. We also found that the Tight position exhibits an excellent lower-gain tone.
