The Voxpop-50 by AVE is a dual layer nylon screen microphone pop filter for recording environments. The pop filter helps to reduces the pop and hiss that can occur in vocal recordings, effective when mounted 5-10 cm from the condenser or ribbon microphone.
The VOXPOP-50 is a necessary and effective accessory for you condenser microphone in the studio. The VOXPOP will reduce the sudden jet of air that a vocal produces on certain plosive sounds, these plosive sounds overload the capsule in your microphone and cause a clip in your signal, or better know at a POP. The VOXPOP will reduce the POP and protect your microphone from spray and moisture.
