The Warm Audio Dirty Boy Junior is a high–headroom overdrive pedal born from a collaboration between Warm Audio and Dirty Boy Pedals. It translates the original Dirty Boy preamp overdrive and T.A.E. amp simulation circuit into a compact, pedalboard–friendly enclosure. Designed to deliver the tone of a cranked 30–watt British amplifier and half–stack configuration, this pedal targets mid–high gain overdrive territory with vintage analogue character.

The circuit architecture combines preamp–style overdrive with tube amp emulation, providing responsive gain staging that reacts to playing dynamics and guitar volume controls. Controls include standard gain, tone, and volume parameters that shape the British–inspired voicing. The pedal operates in mono configuration with standard 9V DC power requirements. Built to occupy minimal pedalboard real estate while maintaining the tonal DNA of its larger predecessor, the Dirty Boy Junior retains the amp–like feel and harmonic complexity that defined the original design.
