The Walrus Audio Canvas Expression is far more than a traditional expression pedal. Designed as a flexible control hub, it features two independently configurable outputs that can function as Expression, Switch, or Control Voltage (CV) outputs, alongside comprehensive MIDI control via both TRS and USB-C. Unlike conventional expression pedals that perform a single task, Canvas Expression can control multiple devices simultaneously while offering advanced customization for sweep response, switching behaviour, wiring compatibility, and MIDI messaging. Automatic expression wiring detection makes setup effortless, while onboard controls and the browser-based Canvas Editor allow you to tailor every aspect of the pedal to suit your rig.

Built using Walrus Audio’s contactless sensing technology, Canvas Expression eliminates traditional wear points like potentiometers, gears, and strings for exceptionally smooth operation and long-term reliability.
