The StingRay Short Scale in Purple Sparkle uses a 30-inch scale to reduce the reach between fret positions. Its nyatoh body and roasted maple neck are paired with a 22-fret layout and 38 mm nut, offering a compact alternative within the StingRay bass range.
A neodymium humbucker is connected to passive electronics and a three-way rotary selector, with parallel, true single-coil and series modes. The push-push volume function adds another output option, alongside a separate tone control. A six-bolt neck attachment and open-gear tuners complete the construction, with a rosewood fingerboard and black pickguard defining the Purple Sparkle version.
