The StingRay RAY4HH in Candy Apple Red adds a second humbucker to the four-string SUB Series platform. This variant uses a poplar body, hard maple neck and hard maple fingerboard, with a white pickguard. Its 34-inch scale and 38 mm nut keep the full-scale bass layout paired with a relatively narrow neck at the nut.
Two ceramic humbuckers and a five-way selector provide more pickup combinations than the single-pickup RAY4. The 9V active two-band preamp adds onboard bass and treble shaping. A fully adjustable fixed bridge, open-gear tuners and six-bolt neck attachment complete the instrument’s straightforward hardware.
