The Steve Lukather LK100 in Purple Sparkle combines the Luke body shape with a V-profile roasted maple neck and rosewood fingerboard. Its 25.5-inch scale, 22 frets and 12-inch radius provide the playing dimensions, while locking tuners and a vintage tremolo support practical string changes and expressive vibrato.
Two ceramic humbuckers are paired with five-way balanced switching for a range of pickup sounds. The volume control also operates a 12 dB push-push boost, allowing an output lift directly from the guitar. A separate tone control completes a compact layout built around quick sound changes during a performance.
