Ryan “Fluff” Bruce’s signature Sterling StingRay in Amana Boat Blue combines an offset nyatoh body with a roasted maple neck and roasted maple fingerboard. It uses a hardtail bridge with vintage bent saddles and locking tuners, creating a fixed-bridge setup suited to players who favour straightforward hardware.
The pickup pairing is specific to Fluff’s design: a Seymour Duncan JB Jr. at the neck and a JB Trembucker at the bridge. A three-way toggle and single volume control keep switching simple. The factory specification calls for Drop C-sharp tuning with Ernie Ball Beefy Slinky strings, supported by a 25.5-inch scale and 22-fret neck.
