Protection Racket's Nutcase sets deliver serious impact resistance in an entry–level package engineered from the ground up for touring and studio use. Built on principles developed in the Pro line, these cases combine lightweight construction with a 20mm dense foam core and abrasion–resistant outer fabric that resists stretching and shrinking. The N1800–90 configuration accommodates a 22"×18" bass drum, 14"×5.5" snare, 10"×9" and 12"×10" toms, plus a 14"×12" tom–sized case.

Each case is lined with 210–denier nylon to resist rips and punctures, whilst brushed steel zippers and ergonomic handles provide dependable hardware for repeated transport. Tom and snare cases feature an egg–shaped design that accommodates suspended isolation mounting systems, eliminating the need for custom rigging. The set's interior dimensions exceed shell specifications to accommodate hardware fixtures and fittings, ensuring secure fit across standard drum configurations without compromising pack efficiency.

The five–piece configuration suits players transitioning from portable kits to full touring setups, offering flexible case combinations for venue–to–venue consistency. Unlike rigid flight cases, Nutcases maintain manoeuvrability through venues and vehicles whilst delivering protection equivalent to cases costing significantly more.
