The case materials and construction follow Protection Racket's rigid–case methodology, designed to absorb impact across the drum's most vulnerable points during transport. For drummers using RIMS suspension, the 2013R–00 variant expands to 22” × 15” internally, accounting for the additional height of the mounting hardware while maintaining secure fit and structural integrity.

This case pairs well with Protection Racket's hardware cases, which accommodate the three removed legs separately during transport. The range spans multiple floor tom sizes—from 13” × 13” through 18” × 18”—allowing drummers to build a cohesive protection system across an entire kit.
