The Markbass Groove 40/120 set brings a traditional warm nickel character to a 5-string electric bass. Nickel-plated steel winding over a high-carbon hexagonal core gives the set its familiar roundwound feel, with string diameters selected as a complete, matched set.

Hand-wound at the Markbass string factory in Abruzzo, Italy, this set contains gauges .040 / .060 / .080 / .100 / .120. The five-string layout includes a dedicated low string, so all five strings can be replaced together with the matching Groove construction.
