Get Natural Acoustic Guitar Sound Onstage

Perfect blend of string and body! The M1 Active does just what you want your acoustic guitar's pickup to do — it brings the natural voice of your guitar to life onstage. Your strings will sound sweet but not too twangy and bright, which is a problem with many acoustic pickups. And you'll have full control of your detailed, full sound thanks to the LR Baggs M1 Active's built-in volume control. You'll be glad to know that there's a pre-wired strapjack harness, so installation should be a snap. Best of all, you can feel free to plug in and play all you want. The M1 Active's battery lasts for 1,000+ hours

  • Highly feedback-resistant acoustic guitar pickup
  • Built-in volume control lets you take charge of your sound
  • Offers a perfect blend of string and body signal
  • Quiet, hum-free operation for your stage performances
  • Built-in gold-plated 1/8" jack for a flawless connection
  • Includes a pre-wired strapjack harness for easy installation
  • Battery lasts for 1,000+ hours

LR Baggs M1A or M80 ?

  • M1A (part of the M1 Series):

    – Classic body-sensitive magnetic pickup with a suspended lower coil that captures string signal plus some body resonance for a more acoustic-like sound compared to typical mag pickups.

  • M80:

    – Builds on the M1’s design but advances the body sensing — the coil is completely separated and free-floating, acting almost like a tiny dynamic sensor that responds in three dimensions to vibrations from the top/back/side of the guitar.
