The JAM Pedals Wahcko mk.2 takes one of JAM’s defining pedals and expands its expressive range with greater control, broader instrument compatibility, and refined response. Built around the feel and musicality that have made the Wahcko a favourite since 2009, the mk.2 retains its immediate, dynamic character while adding new ways to tailor the pedal to your playing style.

At the heart of the Wahcko mk.2 is a custom JAM inductor, inspired by the vintage TDK inductors found in classic 1960s Cry Baby and Vox wah circuits. The result is an expressive sweep designed to respond naturally to your picking dynamics, instrument and amplifier.

The familiar six-position SWEEP rotary control lets you select between six distinct frequency ranges, making it easy to move from focused, vocal wah sounds to broader tonal responses. The mk.2 also introduces an internal Q trimmer, allowing finer adjustment of the character and intensity of the wah response, alongside the retained internal input-gain trimmer.

For the first time, the Wahcko can also be configured specifically for guitar or bass using internal DIP switches. Bass Mode extends the useful sweep into lower registers while retaining the feel and musical response of the original design. Rocker resistance is also adjustable using the included 4 mm Allen key, allowing the physical feel of the pedal to be tailored to the player.

Used by artists including Nile Rodgers, Bill Frisell, John Scofield, Steve Lukather, Richie Sambora and Greg Koch, the Wahcko mk.2 builds on an established JAM Pedals design with additional flexibility for both guitarists and bassists.
