Slinky Cobalt Flatwound Short Scale strings combine the smooth surface of flatwounds with the output and definition associated with cobalt. Their cobalt ribbon wrap and cobalt underwraps are designed to retain a lively bass response beneath the fingers.
This set is built for basses with a 30–30.5-inch scale. The strings measure 48 inches overall, with the taper at 32.5 inches, making the construction and winding length explicit when checking the fit on a short-scale instrument.
