Ernie Ball Extra Light Everlast Coated 80/20 Bronze Acoustic Guitar Strings use a 10–50 gauge combination. Everlast 80/20 Bronze strings combine a bright acoustic voice with a treatment intended to resist moisture and oils. The treatment reaches both the inner core and outer winding, helping protect the string rather than concentrating only on its exterior.
The wound strings pair an 80% copper and 20% zinc wrap with hexagonal brass-plated steel cores. This preserves the clear, ringing character of the 80/20 alloy while adding the protection of Ernie Ball’s Everlast treatment.
