Ernie Ball Custom Light Earthwood 80/20 Bronze Acoustic Guitar Strings use a 11.5–54 gauge combination. 80/20 Bronze wrap wire gives these acoustic strings a clear, ringing response with a lively overtone character. This alloy combines 80% copper with 20% zinc, offering the bright voice associated with the Earthwood 80/20 range.
The wound strings use a hexagonal brass-plated steel core beneath the bronze wrap. The selected gauge combination defines this set, so both its treble feel and bass-string weight can be matched to your preferred acoustic setup.
