The Klotz AY1-0200 insert Y cable connects a compatible single-jack insert point to separate send and return connections. This allows an external processor to be placed in an insert path using one cable assembly, with the two branches kept together for convenient routing. This 2 m version uses one 6.35 mm TRS plug to two 6.35 mm TS plugs.
The unbalanced insert assembly uses PCU201-Z twin cable with a PVC jacket and gold-plated jack contacts. Its Y layout provides distinct signal paths for the equipment send and return, rather than a balanced microphone connection.
