Darkglass ANAGRAM Multi-FX Unit w/ NAM, TONE3000 & IR Loader
Darkglass Anagram is a bass multi-effects processor for players who want amp modelling, cabinet IRs and effects in one pedalboard unit. Load NAM or AIDA-X models, build effect chains and switch between Preset, Scene and Stomp modes using the touchscreen, six knobs and three footswitches. XLR, quarter-inch and USB audio connections suit stage and recording setups.
Load your favourite NAM profiles and IRs
Anagram loads compatible NAM (Neural Amp Modeler) and AIDA-X neural models, plus user cabinet IRs. This lets you combine an amp model with a cabinet response and other effects in your preset. Bass is its main focus, but compatible guitar models and IRs can also be used. Check model compatibility and available processing capacity when building a preset.
Complete with a suite of Darkglass amps & effects
The onboard library covers amp and cab sounds, drive, compression, EQ, modulation, delay and reverb, alongside a tuner and looper. For specific effect names and the current block list, see the official Anagram manual and effects list. Available blocks and features depend on the installed firmware; check your version before planning a preset around a particular effect.
Complete connectivity
Connect your instrument to the quarter-inch mono input. Two balanced XLR outputs and two unbalanced quarter-inch outputs support different stage and recording routes, while the 3.5 mm headphone output is useful for quiet practice. USB-C provides USB audio and MIDI; the separate MIDI In and Out sockets use 3.5 mm TRS Type A connections. The Return/Exp socket is shared between the stereo return and an expression pedal, so plan that connection before building your board. Compatible expression pedals need the control signal on the ring of the TRS plug.

Power and what is included
A 9V DC power adapter and carry case are included. For an alternative DC supply, Darkglass specifies regulated 9–12V DC, centre-negative, with at least 1.7A available. Its current manual labels the DC input 9V/2A. A typical low-current pedal outlet is not sufficient just because its voltage is 9V. USB-C power requires a compatible Power Delivery supply rated for at least 18W.
Check the manufacturer’s current connection and power guidance before choosing an alternative supply, or explore the Darkglass range at GSUS4 to compare other products.
