The Walrus Audio Lüm Texture Engine is unlike a traditional reverb pedal. Instead of simply adding ambience, it fractures your signal into tiny audio grains and wraps them in lush, evolving reverbs, opening up an entirely new world of cinematic textures, ambient soundscapes, and experimental effects. Built upon ideas from the acclaimed Slö, Lore, and Fable pedals, Lüm combines granular processing with expressive real-time control for players looking to push beyond conventional guitar tones. 

Three unique processing modes offer distinctly different sound design possibilities. Grain Cloud creates shimmering glitch-like textures from a feedback delay line, Grain Verb embeds granular fragments inside dense reverb washes, while Forward/Reverse Verb blends forward and reverse reverbs into rhythmic, evolving ambience. Whether you’re creating ambient pads, post-rock swells, cinematic soundtracks, or experimental electronic textures, Lüm delivers inspiring and highly interactive results. 

Designed for expressive performance, Lüm features Moment Control, allowing you to morph any parameter while holding the momentary footswitch, alongside adjustable ramp times for smooth automation. The Stretch Engine globally changes the playback speed from 0.5x to 2x, dramatically altering grain behaviour and reverb characteristics. Three onboard presets let you instantly recall your favourite sounds with seamless transitions, making it equally suited to studio production and live performance. 

Finished in the stunning Guava Gloss artwork by Emily Ursä, the Lüm Texture Engine is as visually inspiring as it is sonically adventurous, bringing an entirely new category of “texture pedals” to your pedalboard.
