The Sterling Bass (SB14) is inspired by the original Music Man design, offering a slightly more compact feel while still delivering a big, full sound. The passive setup keeps things simple and reliable, making it a great option for players who prefer a more traditional approach to tone. It's versatile enough to cover a wide range of styles, from rock and indie through to funk and general session playing.
With its Alnico V humbucker and simple volume/tone layout, it's all about feel and sound rather than tweaking settings. Add in the slightly smaller body shape, and you've got a bass that's comfortable, responsive and easy to connect with straight away.
